The room was clean and well-decorated.
Upon arrival, I was shocked to find the hotel on the second floor with no elevator, which made lugging my bags a chore. The back entrance smelled terrible, and checking in felt rushed as the concierge did not bother to help with any of my concerns. Additionally, the wifi was unreliable, making it difficult to work during my stay.

Located in the heart of downtown, this place puts you just a short walk away from an array of restaurants—sushi, steakhouses, burgers—whatever you're craving. A couple of notable spots nearby include Porto's Bakery, famous for its knockout pastries, and a selection of high-end stores like Tiffany's and Bloomingdale's, perfect for a shopping spree.
Keep in mind, there are no elevators, which can be a hassle if you're hauling any heavy luggage or have mobility issues. The room setup is a bit quirky with a bathroom window and a glass panel door, making it tough to block out light at night. A slight smell permeates the property, and if you end up in a smaller room, space might feel cramped—your view could even be of a firewall, so no sunny skies for you. Also, the air-conditioning units can be noisy, which might disrupt your sleep if you aren't used to it.

Clean, comfortable rooms with plenty of storage made for a pleasant stay. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness stood out, especially when hauling luggage up the stairs. The hotel’s prime location near numerous dining options, including the world-famous seasoned fries, made meals easy. However, the absence of an elevator and the steep stair access could be challenging for some guests.

Amazing staff and location!
We had a late arrival, but the staff was super friendly and recommended a great spot nearby for food. The room was really clean, and we felt safe wandering out at night. Just a heads-up, though, the stairs can be a bit of a hassle if you have heavy bags. Overall, a nice experience!
